Putting the eight domains together
The CISSP exam tests breadth and managerial judgement rather than deep technical trivia. In the final weeks, review across domains rather than one at a time, and practise explaining concepts out loud — teaching a concept is the fastest way to find the gaps in it.
- Read the last sentence of the question first; it tells you what is actually being asked.
- Eliminate obviously wrong answers, then choose the management-level response.
- Human safety first, then policy, then technology.
- Watch for qualifiers: BEST, FIRST, MOST, LEAST — they change the answer.
- Do not read extra facts into a scenario that are not stated.
Use the companion
Ask the professor companion to quiz you on a domain, or to explain a concept as if you were teaching it. It will ask follow-up questions rather than hand you answers.
